Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking an Enterprise Safety Leader to lead our growing safety team. This position will act as the leader of the Safety team, including Environmental, Occupational, and Industrial Health and Safety professionals aligned with various businesses across the organization, and provide strategic direction and effective leadership of the company's Safety team and Harm Prevention Program. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include: Ensuring the company remains compliant with all company safety policies as well as state and federal safety reporting requirements and regulations. Serving as a company representative to industry, nonprofit, education, government, and community organizations. Participating in various internal organizational teams/committees that help develop McKinstry's Harm Prevention, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Health and Safety, Emotional/Psychological Safety, and other related programs and initiatives Ensuring effective staffing, budgets, financial and regulatory reporting. Providing expertise, strategic leadership, and support for all McKinstry's various safety initiatives. Support the growth and development of Safety team professionals Creating a working atmosphere that promotes openness and a high level of enthusiasm and morale. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Experience successfully leading and managing transformational change in an organization required. Fifteen (15) years experience administering, developing, and managing Environmental, Occupational, and Industrial Health and Safety programs and compliance required. Skill in identifying, defining, and actualizing organization-wide objectives in a practical, measurable way with defined results required. Leadership, and managerial presence required to successfully influence all levels of a complex, multi-business, geographically diverse organization required. Ten (10) years experience managing within complex organizations required. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal required. Strong relationship-building skills required. Familiarity with process improvement and statistical analysis modalities to ensure accurate, effective measurement and reporting of goals and results required.
