This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security and human spaceflight. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers and administrators, you will will help to implement and oversee configuration management systems that facilitate designing, building, testing, flying, and maintaining various liquid propulsion rocket engines. In this position, you will collaborate with tool administrators and program representatives on our team, process owners in the systems engineering and cross-functional organizations outside our team, and tool administrators and developers at the business unit and company level. We are seeking an individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work directly with engine product teams in development and improvement of program metrics and report-generation Ensure configuration and data management rules are enforced and meeting program requirements Train new users on standard processes and best practices, as well as provide continuing support to enable critical work to be delivered on time. Identify and implement system and process improvements as required to increase efficiency and quality Minimum Qualifications: AA/AS or BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline 5+ years of direct product configuration management experience (Product structure, parts, drawings, documents and requirements management) 3+ years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (aerospace, nuclear, government, medical device, etc.) Experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices Familiar with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in the Jama Connect or similar enterprise management software Proficient in technical writing of process and procedure Experience using Windchill, Confluence, and Jira Experienc
