Blue Origin LLC ECLS System Engineer -Lunar Permanence in Seattle, Washington

Lunar Transportation: This role is part of the Lunar Transportation business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, and engineers on the Environmental Control and Life Support team, you will enable the successful realization, use, sustainment, and retirement of engineered systems, using systems principles and concepts, and scientific, technological, and management methods (INCOSE). This includes establishing and managing stakeholders' expectations, establishing the framework governing and enabling the development activities, defining solution space and performing trades, specifying a solution, synthesizing, verifying and integrating the solution. The approach covers both technical and programmatic aspects of all lifecycle activities in support of producing competitive & reliable systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Own requirements at the Environmental Control and Life Support system Level. Provide Leadership and guidance to Responsible Engineers for lower level requirements. Own and manage all internal and external interfaces. Be the ECLS point of contact for other system engineers. Create and manage verification and validation plans. Adhere to Blue Leadership Principles. Minimum Qualifications BS in related engineering field Experience in one or more areas of the product life cycle Experience leading small technical teams Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Model Based System Engineering Experience with NASA gated reviews Worked on a crewed spaceflight program Compensation Range for: CO applicants is $88,440.00-$123,816.00;WA applicants is $96,480.00-$135,072.00 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
