What the day will look like Our data scientists in health analytics assess data-based needs and sure that all of our clients, both internal and external, receive a high-value return. This team has the benefit of working on special projects with access to proprietary reporting tools to address complex needs of our data-driven clients. Responsibilities include collaboration with data managers, data scientists, statisticians, actuaries, solution architects and programming specialists in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, R and more. Additionally, our colleagues: Evaluate and advise on health claims and risk datasets, such as eligibility data and medical and prescription drug claims from multiple data sources. Build statistical and machine learning models on large health datasets to provide advance support to clients. Liaise with external healthcare carriers, data vendors, startups and other critical parties to track and monitor upcoming evolutions of digital health, care delivery and more. Work on groundbreaking data analytics tools to build full stack pipelines in R/Python for data ingestion, cleaning and preparation with accurate version control. Showcase your skills in data visualization by communicating findings through the use of charts, visualization tools and reporting automation to share end-results of technical content to a non-technical audience. We'll help you build this career-changing skill! Develop understanding around medical claims reporting and billing for inpatient and outpatient procedures at a DRG, procedure code/CPT level.
