The director, Channel Operations for Mobile Order and Pay & Innovative Formats will be responsible for setting goals, developing organizational capability, and fostering teamwork within their team. They will identify and communicate key responsibilities to ensure a successful mindset and confidence in leadership. Additionally, they will support the implementation of company programs and practices to promote key messages and achieve a competitive advantage. The director will also develop strategic and operational plans, manage execution, and measure results, including creating annual operating plans, budgets, and quarterly forecasts. They will ensure that business processes align with company goals and educate teams on policy changes. Furthermore, the director will focus on partner development and team building by providing coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities, conducting performance reviews, ensuring compliance, overseeing training, and making staffing decisions to achieve business and customer results.

As a director, Channel Operations – MOP & Innovative Formats , you will…

  • Own creating and consolidating all tools & resources in one place

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to establish End to End, of innovation and best practices - including new concepts scalability, current portfolio improvements and future innovation for MOP & Innovative Formats.

  • Work cross-functionally to implement clear approaches to deployment, roles & routines, play-builder and other tools to achieve and define success.

Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:

  • Calculates financial impact of new initiatives for inclusion in cost-benefit analysis.

  • Creates, tests and implements productivity initiatives for both new stores and for retrofitting existing stores.

  • Ensures labor standards and operating standards are consistent and optimized.

  • Supports retail stores in measuring COSD throughput in Drive-Thru, increasing their efficiencies through roles & routines, tools and resources and conceptual design input.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
