Salary:                 $202,891/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

Duties:

Work with development and operator teams from product concept to post-launch/sustaining. Work with consumer electronics manufacturer/design in-house experiences with cellular (LTE, 5G), Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), BT (LE/classic) devices with the emphasis on the wireless cellular compliance background. Work with carrier and operator certification teams. Make quick and concise compliance guidance to cross-functional teams based on solid and relevant compliance knowledge or product certifications background applications. Collaborate with CM/JDM or to drive critical compliance deliverables to keep the project moving forward. Manage third party test lab to execute testing, demonstrated skills to pivot and absorb special requests or changes from all design teams that affect product certifications, and communicate the impact of mid-cycle changes to the certification results.

Requirements:

Requires Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 36 months experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following: 1. Working in a fast-faced, cross-functional, multiple-disciplinary WiFi and cellular portable consumer electronics design environment and providing compliance leadership end-to-end from the product concept phase, through designs and certification cycle, to post-production and sustaining phase; 2. Working with RF/EE/PD internal teams and providing early and in-design compliance input; 3. Reading Product Requirement Document (PRD), deciphering critical agency-impact elements and considerations, asking early questions from cross-functional teams to gain clarity, and generating compliance test plans; 4. Connecting all cross-functional decisions, latest certification practices or rules, and allowance from regulatory bodies; 5. Compiling certification filing packages and submitting to the regulatory agencies; 6. Working in a design environment and managing multiple projects with disciplines including FCC/CE/int'l wireless certifications; and 7. Reviewing test reports, pointing out issues in the reports issued, and working with TCB and Notified Bodies or other global regulatory agencies to result in successful and confidential certification completions.
