HARBORVIEW – DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE SUPPORT (DNS) has an outstanding opportunity for a CNA / Hospital Assistant Lead .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

  • Radiology at Harborview provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Harborview's patients and providers

  • Through our various services and locations we touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuum

  • Our faculty, technical and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and guide Hospital Assistants and volunteers

  • Assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care

  • Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens; Ordering and stocking of supplies

  • Perform non-invasive lab procedures and assist with treatments

  • Maintain / set up of special equipment

  • Handle clerical tasks related to patient care and department operations REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington required

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • One year of hospital assistant experience in an acute hospital setting OR equivalent education/experience.
