Nucor Charge Crane Operator - NSSEA in Seattle, Washington

Basic Job Functions:

The Charge Crane Operator provides safe & efficient operation of an overhead crane for successful performance of the furnace. The Charge Crane Operator is primarily responsible for moving empty and full charge buckets and charging the furnace. Additional responsibilities include filling of silos, electrode adds with the EXO adder, moving stock onto the Melt Shop floor, relieving the Ladle Crane Operator for breaks, and other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Compensation for this position is comprised of base pay plus weekly production bonuses, with teammates in this role averaging over $100k in 2021.
