Job Description The Associate Production Specialist provides standardized support to Operations field personnel, scheduling function and executes planning in a central location. The Associate Production Specialist will assist in ensuring work that is scheduled and dispatched to the field can be executed. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities Dependency Management: Ensure predecessor tasks are complete prior to releasing the work order Validate that required materials are available in SAP and that material needs are communicated to the field worker Attach required information to work orders in SAP Review work orders and confirm required crewing can be achieved in coordination with Gas Dispatch Work order date coordination: Review available work orders and adjust work order dates to align with resource capacity Assess compliance work order due dates and adjust work order dates to ensure work order dates maintain compliance Understands the complexities of each piece of work and how it is completed in the field Customer contact: Review list of available and returned work orders and assess the need for customer contact Contact customers via letter, email or phone to meet regulatory requirements Coordinate and schedule appointments based on customer and resource availability Work order management: Review list of available work orders Identify work orders that have dependent task or material needs Release work orders to Dispatch for scheduling Participates in emergency response efforts as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and appropriate experience 3 years of experience in planning or utility operations Demonstrated experience with data analytics Ability to communicate effectively, orally and written, with a wide variety of individuals and groups internally and externally Desired Qualifications Knowledge of the Gas Operations business/department Familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance Demonstrated organization, documentation and prioritization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Detailed oriented Additional Information At PSE we value and respect our employees and provide them opportunities to excel.
