SUMMARY: Cytek Biosciences is a fast-growing company to provide tools and solutions for cell analysis. We are seeking an AI and Bioinformatics Intern to support the evaluation of AI and Machine Learning data classification algorithms for multi-spectral and cell imaging platforms within our Flow Cytometry team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Publish the model to allow for inferencing on patient data. Develop tools to plot the results for interpretable visualization. Develop a method to process data sets of greater than 1 million records accumulated by using multiple fcs training files. Create a generalized pipeline for data training and inferencing that can be readily adapted for different applications. Employ software libraries, tools, and best practices to implement efficient, scalable, and reusable solutions. Communicate and collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary R&D teams to facilitate new product development and improve existing products. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Graduate degree in Engineering or related scientific field with experience in machine learning techniques, especially deep learning, for image and signal classification required. Knowledge of Python and working with machine learning tools required. Open and responsive to new ideas with the ability to develop creative and practical solutions to difficult problems. Strong organizational skills, flexibility to changing priorities and needs, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability. Proficient in oral and written technical communication including researching and writing papers and reports and making technical presentations to a wide audience. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of comfort working with cross-functional teams.
