Avigilon's solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.Job Description Reporting to the Director of Sales, Enterprise Accounts the Vertical Account Specialist - Access Control - Education West holds a key position to grow the access control sales within key enterprise accounts for Motorola. This role requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about Access Control and is highly customer focused and efficient. The core objective of this position is to create and win access control projects and customers key enterprise accounts supporting and working alongside our Enterprise Account (FAST) teams within MSI. This role will be covering half of the United States. Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain and grow an operational and security mindset in relation to access control within named enterprise accounts. Work extremely well with other sales professionals within the VS&A organization Work with and educate North American Sales Team members on how to engage with the Higher Education vertical effectively and with maximum results Develop and maintain deep, meaningful relationships within tour named enterprise accounts that are relevant to security and access control and have the possibility of generating opportunities for Motorola Solutions Work with the Enterprise account team to identify key partners/end-users; equipping the team with resources to quickly and effectively engage contacts in a manner that will result in Motorola Solutions revenue growth. Identify "product gaps" that need to be addressed by Product Management in order to gain greater exposure/standardization in the enterprise access control market. Manage business unit resource - demo equipment, marketing budgets, travel budgets, or any other resources the company allocates Develop standardized vertical market presentations and sales tools for use by the Enterprise account team to discuss our Access Control offerings Compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it back to head office, maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Access Control, a focus in enterprise ac
