Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in back-end development with Java Spring Boot, RDBMS, and AWS Cloud Services. Experience with Okta for authentication and front-end technologies like React is a plus. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build back-end services and RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot.

• Develop Java-based applications that are efficient, scalable, and secure.

• Work with Relational Databases (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar, including database schema design, complex queries, and performance optimization.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

• Implement authentication and authorization solutions using Okta (a plus).

• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to define technical solutions and ensure seamless integration with the front-end.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and security of applications.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

  Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot for building back-end services and APIs.

• Solid experience working with Relational Databases (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

• Proficient in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts (experience with Okta is a plus).

• Knowledge of web services, including RESTful APIs and integration with front-end technologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize and troubleshoot performance issues.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• preference for a experience at AWS or an equally reputable firm like Facebook, Google,

• Experience with Okta for user authentication and management.

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools.

• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
