Sr. Acquisition Analyst

Job summary: Senior Acquisition Analyst
Description: (job duties)
Identify and analyze shipping and logistic schedules, Engineering Change Proposals, quality control, and integrated logistics support status.
Develop and maintain Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) delivery status (contract, system information).
Monitor Government Furnished Information (GFI), draft reports and perform applicable database maintenance.
Provide risk management and mitigation recommendations.
Identify and track schedule status (e.g., delay to contract award, deliveries, shipping documentation or receipt documentation) and provide recommended resolution.
Draft/ develop briefings and presentations.
Generate, edit and review minutes and action items in support of meetings and or reviews.
Monitor GFE procurement status.
Maintain shipbuilding contract schedules for multiple ship classes.
Work Location: Washington DC
Requirements: (education, years of experience, certifications, etc.)
Must have active DOD Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one.
10 years experience professional experience in program/ project management in DoD Acquisition; or 10 years professional experience in program/ project management in Navy Acquisition
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Ability to work independently or collaboratively as technical or subject matter expert with Sr. Government Acquisition Managers
Assist in tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure performing activities are meeting periodic targets
Draft spreadsheets, reports, and other documents and provide supporting analysis to present GFE/ GFI status of programs
Proficient in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years DoD/Navy program/ project management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
(Desired) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Science discipline
Travel: Infrequent
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 depending on experience and contract budget
Work Status: Full Time
