Lackawanna County Workforce Development Board TANF Summer Project Coordinator in Scranton, Pennsylvania
The position is temporary in nature to commence in late May/early June 2024; 25-30 hours per week (Monday through Friday) through August 23, 2024; $23.00 per hour paid through a W9/1099 as a vendor, no benefits. Duties include initial start-up recruitment and eligibility determination of potential program participants; enlistment of potential worksites for placement of participants; worksite monitoring; necessary form acquisition; scheduling; time and attendance monitoring; payroll preparation; conducting workshops on financial literacy, cyberbullying, and career exploration; various clerical work and/or other duties as assigned by a direct supervisor. Local, reimbursed travel is involved, so you must have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Applicants must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Compensated background clearances will be required prior to start.
