We are looking for a success-driven ACCOUNTING CLERK to add to an expanding company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In this ACCOUNTING CLERK position, you will be responsible for supporting accounting operations by filing documents; reconciling statements; running software programs. This ACCOUNTING CLERK is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their career and grow within a secure company. DUTIES

• Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.

• Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.

• Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.

• Verifies financial reports by running performance analysis software program.

• Determines value of depreciable assets by running depreciation software program.

• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of accounting experience

Skilled in Excel and knowledge with QuickBooks

Detail oriented

Bachelors in Accounting is not required but would be preferred
