Position Summary:

The Software Test Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated testing solutions for our full-stack applications. This role will focus on building robust regression test frameworks, performance testing infrastructure, and seamlessly integrating automated testing into our CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for backend Java/Spring applications and frontend systems
• Create and maintain comprehensive regression test suites for critical business processes
• Implement performance and load testing solutions to ensure system scalability and reliability
• Configure and optimize test automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams to identify test scenarios and implement test coverage
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system quality and performance metrics
• Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks and testing infrastructure
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability of features

Required Knowledge, Education, & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field experience
• 5+ years of experience in software test automation
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito)
• Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, JMeter, Gatling)
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Experience with performance testing and load testing methodologies
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud testing practices
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Programming: Java, Python, Shell scripting
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, JUnit, TestNG
• Tools: AccelQ, Selenium, JMeter, Gatling, Jenkins
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes
• Version Control: Git
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI

Highly Preferred Skills, Abilities, & Qualifications:

• Relevant industry certifications
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of test automation best practices and design patterns
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and testing practices
• Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis
• Knowledge of security testing principles
• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to mentor team members
