Job Title: Physician Support Specialist

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona (located specifically in North Scottsdale, at East Bell Road and the 101)

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 hourly (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Full Time with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401k)

Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!

Job Summary:

Envita Medical Centers is a world-class integrative and precision medicine facility dedicated to providing cutting-edge treatments for complex health conditions. We are seeking a Physician’s Administrative Assistant to support our physicians with critical administrative tasks, track patient outcomes, audit performance data, and maintain accurate medical records. The role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and experience with electronic health records. A medical background is preferred to better understand clinical processes and healthcare data analysis. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support to physicians. 

  • Track and analyze patient outcome data to assess treatment effectiveness and support continuous improvement. 

  • Conduct audits on physician performance outcomes to ensure adherence to protocols and quality standards. 

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic health record systems. 

  • Assist in compiling reports on patient progress, physician efficiency, and treatment success rates. 

  • Collaborate with medical staff to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient care. 

  • Ensure all documentation follows HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Medical background preferred. 

  • Previous experience in a medical administrative role 

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Proficiency in patient charts and EHR systems. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports effectively. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with medical staff. 

  • Understanding of medical terminology and patient privacy regulations (HIPAA).
