We are offering an exciting opportunity in the legal industry, specifically in the personal injury field, at a law firm in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. The role involves hybrid work arrangements, offering both office-based and remote work. The position is for a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, where the primary tasks include assisting attorneys, managing case files, and preparing legal documents.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation and providing trial support

• Utilizing various software like Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and CompuLaw for case management and legal procedures

• Coordinating with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel to ensure smooth legal proceedings

• Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in state and federal courts

• Ensuring case files are organized and deadlines are met consistently

• Preparing discovery requests, responses, and conducting document reviews

• Summarizing depositions, medical records, and other case materials for easy reference

• Communicating with clients regularly, providing updates, and gathering necessary information

• Handling claim administration and billing functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Performing calendar management and briefing duties as required.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal - must have personal injury experience.

• Proficiency in Aderant software.

• Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing.

• Proficient in using case management software to handle legal cases efficiently.

• Experience with CompuLaw for managing deadlines and schedules.

• Ability to handle billing functions effectively.

• Experience in briefing for court proceedings and client meetings.

• Proficient in calendar management for scheduling appointments and meetings.

• Experienced in claim administration tasks related to personal injury litigation.

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
