Description

Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, Devereux Arizona’s 24-hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) has the capacity to serve 52 children. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.

Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director, the Director of Residential Services successfully leads the day-to-day operations (clinical, administrative, and financial) of the Residential Treatment Center. This position provides direction and leadership for the campus, while fostering the Devereux mission, our defined culture through Servant Leadership, and maintaining and building relationships with the community. The Director also creates program development opportunities with senior leadership team members, and promotes teamwork, personal accountability, service excellence, respectful communication, supportive approach, and has a positive impact exhibited through effective leadership and role modeling. The Director works in conjunction with other program Directors and Senior Leadership Team members.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $88,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (with other hours as needed)

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related field

• Five years of increasing supervisory and leadership responsibility with five years of experience creating and overseeing an operations budget within a residential or inpatient behavioral health setting

• Director or Assistant Director experience preferred

• Experience overseeing multiple departments/programs of operation

• Experience participating in strategic planning for the operation

OTHER:

• Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check

• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

• Ability to attend 2 weeks of full time New Hire Orientation Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (paid)
