Use experience with and knowledge of Enterprise Cloud (AWS) tools, Shell/Python Coding, CloudFormation and Terraform, Messaging tools such as ActiveMQ or Kafka to implement and maintain cloud native platform capabilities including infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security that support the delivery and operation of the companys AWS cloud-based Software as a Service solutions. Participate in the design, implementation, and administration of cloud-based infrastructure automation and continuous delivery capabilities including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Site Reliability. Provide, configure and administer highly scalable and secure cloud environments including networking, infrastructure, operating systems, middleware, messaging platforms, and cloud-based services. Under the guidance of senior cloud platform engineers, evaluate and operationalize new tools, technologies and cloud services, and build and maintain operational tools for monitoring and analyzing AWS infrastructure and systems. Participate in the design of physical architectures for cloud-based applications that ensure scalability, availability, observability, security and compliance under the guidance of senior team members. Work collaboratively with software engineering and senior cloud platform engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements and to ensure adherence to cloud security standards, reference architectures, patterns, and best practices. Support software development teams by providing subject matter expertise on evolving cloud technologies and cloud platform capabilities. Optimize cloud environments for both performance and cost-effectiveness. Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of disaster recovery strategies. Contribute to and promote best practices and guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in the Cloud Platform. Troubleshoot problems across a wide range of technologies and services. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours production support.

Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, or a related technical field plus two years of relevant experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
