Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of our small pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry and be familiar with accounting software like Great Plains and QuickBooks. This role will be on-site with the potential for some hybrid work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

• Manage payroll and benefits administration.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, including GAAP and local regulations.

• Work closely with the CFO to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

• Experience with chargebacks and wholesalers like Cardinal & McKesson is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting management or a similar role.

• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Great Plains and QuickBooks.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
