ManpowerGroup Painter-Metal in Scott City, Missouri

Manufacturer of standard, modified, and custom electrical enclosures is seeking a full time Painter on the Third Shift Sun-thu 7pm-530am

Pay is $16 an hour

Job Summary:

The painter will use a powder coating method to paint electrical assemblies, sub panels, and accessories by utilizing the proper sequence and work instructions to ensure quality results.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate, troubleshoot and maintain assigned paint booth, gun, and related tools.

Must change over booth or perform other necessary operations in support of the paint department and production schedules.

Maintains the work area and and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on paint equipment, as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to wear a respirator

Must be detailed orientated

Must have the ability to use a hand held sprayer to properly coat materials

Ability to follow established SOP's and Work Instructions

Must be able to follow directions and work in a fast paced, team environment.

Ability to stay self-motivated

Ability to complete required paperwork

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

What Do you Bring

Previous paint experience is required

Previous powder coat paint experience preferred.

Prolonged periods of standing

Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50lbs.
