Army Installation Management Command Recreation Aid (Trainee-Lifeguard) NF-01 in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Summary Lifeguard Certification Training is located at Richardson Pool on Schofield Barracks. Upon completion of mandatory certifications, the incumbent will be non-competitively placed in a Recreation Aid Lifeguard position PD 3206 at either Richardson Pool Schofield Barracks, Hawaii or Tripler Pool Honolulu locations. Responsibilities Individuals training to become certified Lifeguards. Position involves close supervision with detailed guidance by Aquatics Manager. Full participation in all required training, including emergency rescue drills and action plan simulations. All certifications must be completed within 30 days of employment. For facilities using "O2 bottles," certification in Oxygen Administration (American Red Cross or equivalent) is required within two weeks of duty. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications. Education No educational requirement.
