Encore Procurement Data Admnistrator in Schiller Park, Illinois

Position Overview

The position of Procurement Data Administrator supports all of ENCORE’s business groups and will work to support initiatives led and managed by the aligned businesses and functional groups. The primary focus of this position will be around the execution of data administration of Supplier and Item Setup. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Procurement.

Key Job Responsibilities

Master Data Administration

  • Works with various business partners to retrieve, analyze, and document proper governance of Supplier and Item data to upload into ENCORE Systems (Ex: Oracle Cloud).

  • Upload and maintain pricing and ensure accuracy of our supplier and item master in coordination with all stakeholders. Setup and manage the supplier and item master database of authorized sources of supply (including activation and inactivation).

  • Develop, document, audit, and implement data quality policies, procedures, standards, and dashboards, etc.

  • Manage communication with data owners, internal and external business partners to ensure awareness of policies, standards, and data accuracy.

  • Manage internal tools, forms, and dashboards that house data standards, reference data, data quality results.

  • Conduct spend uploads at identified frequency to sources

Supply Management & Order Fulfillment

  • Facilitate supplier communication to support supplier onboarding.

  • Continually recommend and/or initiate business process improvement opportunities related to Data Administration and how it impacts the purchasing processes.

  • Audit and update the order-to-payment process, researching and correcting all master data elements that impact invoice related issues that hold up the payment process.

Sourcing

  • Act as liaison to communicate system requirements for data administration to support the sourcing process

  • Administer updates associated with master data elements post strategic sourcing initiatives.

Customer Support

  • Actively engage internal customers to ascertain their fundamental needs.

  • Balance internal customer expectations against supplier capabilities.

  • Respond promptly to customer needs, soliciting feedback to improve service levels and continually meeting or exceeding commitments.

Organizational Support

  • Coordinate internal efforts tied to continuous improvements.

  • Participate in and/or lead teams on special projects.

  • Maintain and develop professional and technical knowledge by actively participating in personal and professional networks and societies, as well as keeping abreast of industry/trade publications, whitepapers and market developments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain / logistics environment/data management

  • Knowledge and understanding of master data processes, standards, data governance and data quality concepts.

  • Familiarity with Purchasing, Inventory Control and Accounting functions

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet or exceed multiple concurrent deadlines. Ability to establish good working relationships with business partners and SMEs to educate and influence data standards and policies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct negotiations

  • Intermediate experience level with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Analytics. applications

W o rk Environment

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by ENCORE based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
