Description
Our client is undergoing a significant transformation, and we need a skilled professional to manage day-to-day IT operations while supporting strategic initiatives. The Director of IT specializes in turning around technology departments and preparing organizations for substantial growth.
The IT Specialist will be responsible for documenting and understanding the current file server and Sharepoint environment and transitioning file servers to SharePoint, in effort to move towards 90% SharePoint completion. The ideal candidate will handle daily IT tasks, allowing the Director of IT to focus on long-term strategic goals. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory and file server issues.
Complete the SharePoint implementation, ensuring full functionality.
Address storage space concerns and optimize SharePoint usage.
Transition outdated file servers to SharePoint to improve file backups and management.
Provide day-to-day IT support and maintenance.
Assist in strategic IT initiatives as directed by the Director of IT.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, including Active Directory and file servers.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint implementation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00
