The HR Technology Project Manager is a resourceful team player who supports the HR Technology Consulting Practice in its goal of providing cutting edge technology solutions to our clients for their human capital management and benefits administration needs. They are passionate about providing value to our clients and is always looking for ways that they can develop more efficient processes. The HR Technology Project Manager acts as a resource for the internal Employee Benefits service team members and engages with external clients on a consistent basis.

Technology Solutions

  • Manage project plans for HR technology implementations, to include timelines, milestones, resources, deliverables, and activities. Project phases include research and discovery, planning, data conversion, configuration review/audit and testing, training, Go Live, and post-implementation ongoing support
  • Implementations may include full HCM (HR/Benefits/Payroll, Performance Management, Time and Attendance, General Ledger) or standalone/variation of platform modules (e.g., Ben Admin only)
  • Review and identify requirements for technology implementations; manage benefits requirements documentation to ensure successful implementation based on client requirements
  • Manage data conversion, to include data extraction, audits, and cleanup as applicable
  • Participate in/manage technology implementation meetings with client, client services team, and vendor implementation team
  • Oversee carrier integration timelines and manage discrepancy reports during carrier integration implementation
  • Discuss and review client requests regarding navigation, report creation and data requests
  • Manage technology platform renewals and Open Enrollment process
  • Test and audit technology platform during benefits implementation and renewals
  • Train HR Administrators on applicable technology platforms/modules
  • Support client ongoing platform/technology needs; respond to clients\' ongoing technology platform questions
  • Configure HR/Benefits modules for specific technology platforms
  • Standalone technology projects/audits

Execution of Client Service

  • Work with Producer and/or Account Executives, service team and other internal departments to plan, execute and track customized service strategy for each client, designed to create value and efficiencies in their businesses
  • Leverage insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain technology options and other items to clients as needed
  • Work with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and timeliness of service execution
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize workload, and service parameters on business processes
  • Understand when issues need to be escalated, who to escalate them to and ensure prevention of further, global issues

Peer Relationships

  • Provide feedback and shares information at team meetings
  • Provide peer support to team members, leveraging your unique skills and experience to transfer knowledge to other project managers
  • Develop successful working relationships with Producers, Account Executives, Account Man gers, service team members, managers, carriers, and members of other departments
  • Communicate effectively with all team members and provides timely complete information to allow them to effectively manage service execution

Market Strategy and Negotiation

  • Work with service team to effectively manage and oversee technology implementation
  • Understand the solutions being implemented including the details of the plans being built into those solutions
  • Remain current on industry trends and legislation

Required

Minimum 5 years of HR software systems implementation experience or direct administration of HCM and payroll systems

Minimum 3 years of data interpretation and data analysis experience

Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to navigate challenging client and stakeholder conversations, leading to ideal outcomes for all stakeholders

Proven track record in meeting project milestones

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
