Position Summary:

Applies retail experience, expertise in web systems, and strong familiarity of Hannaford end user needs to administer scalable communication systems that delivers efficient execution. Serves as a liaison between retail content creators, IT and Retail Operations (Hannaford) leadership to ensure systems and processes support timely and accurate exchange of business information that creates efficient, effective execution of strategy. Works with cross functional business areas on the creation of retail communications that support execution.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop innovative ways to incorporate electronic media and other visual elements into communications efforts

Create content for internal use for retail, including weekly, daily, monthly and program communications

Serve as the subject matter expert on communication strategy.

Consult with other functional areas on communication needs

Design graphics and publications that can be printed or distributed electronically

Assist the Supervisor, Retail Communications in all areas needed, including brainstorming new ideas, proofreading materials, scheduling the release of communications to ensure maximum effectiveness and more

Collaborate with key business partners on developing retail communication strategies and plans.

Manages daily approvals of retail portal content and reviews, edits and approves all retail projects

and tasks for release to stores.

Second-level support for retail web content management process or system issues for retail portal

content authors across all parts of Hannaford.

Primary point for IT web team and retail business content authors to pinpoint and communicate

web content management system issues, design appropriate technical solutions and train retail

content authors across the organization on new or evolving functionality.

Manages all Voice of Retail Feedback from stores and ensures timely response from business owners.

Coach project teams on business change methodology and related communication processes that

leverage enterprise communication solutions, including Task Management and enterprise portal across

banners.

Coordinate the execution of communication plans across various organizational units and banners

for a seamless end user experience.

Consult with internal business partners (Hannaford) on enterprise communication

standards and processes to ensure optimum execution.

Participate in meetings to evaluate communication needs, apply best communication practices

across diverse areas, and plan or deliver web communication solutions.

Develops and updates technical training materials, curriculum and classes for enterprise-level

communication systems.

Participates in helping to create, maintain and analyze results of surveys via Task Management.

Participates in analyzing web communication system usage analytics and recommending

improvements based on communications strategy.

Maintains store and user attributes within web-based communication systems.

May require some weekends, retail travel and occasional overnight travel, as needed. Support a rotation of on-call duties to include off hours and weekends.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

2 to 4 years of Assistant Store Manager Experience or equivalent experience

Advanced Skill in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

Solid understanding of company’s culture, organizational structure and communication systems.

Ability to learn new technical systems and quickly translate learning into sustainable training

programs and materials.

Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; demonstrated project management

skills; persuasive consultation skills; analytical thinker; and strong technical skills required.

Proven ability to collaborate successfully and problem-solve creatively.

Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive change.

The Pay range for this Position is $23.56-$35.34/Hour
