DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises, Inc., is seeking Theater Operations Analysts based out of Kuwait, to support Product Manager Aerostats headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Support theater sponsored meetings, operational information and data, including incident reports, site configuration and status, field directives, and recommend operational solutions and improvements, and ensure operational issues are tracked and resolved quickly.

  • Report to PD Aerostats during a daily call and email regarding the current combat posture and priorities, system activities and site configurations, as well as any new theater directives or policies and provide recommendations to support U.S. Force’s requirements.

  • Assist the Government and military operational units as they develop and process theater required documentation packages to obtain materials and resources for site preparation, crew support, and site protection.

  • Assist PD Aerostats in arranging Government housing and food incoming and outgoing PD Aerostats systems crews and operator/maintainer teams in accordance with (IAW) Army Field Support Brigade procedures.

  • Assist the Government in coordinating the transportation of PD Aerostats systems and crews at airfields, arrange temporary storage for systems if required.

  • Assist with host nation efforts to support PD Aerostats systems in theater, including the use of host nations assests (such as equipment and facilities) when U.S. Government assets are not available.

  • Provide expertise and assist military units, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition Logistics and Technology) representatives, and commanders regarding PD Aerostats systems in support of the development of fragmentary orders, and standard operational procedures.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Expertise with flight requirements for aerostats, including knowledge of flight certifications and flight parameters (desired).

  • Knowledge of the effect of intelligence surveillance reconnaissance (ISR) systems on aerostats (desired).

  • Knowledge of aerostats operational procedures and reporting tools (desired).

  • Ability to analyze operational data to identify and assist in resolving operations-related and mission-critical issues affecting Warfighter support, and assist leadership with refinement of aerostat operational procedures.

  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Must be detail oriented and organized.

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS or higher.

  • 5 or more years in experience in managing a military or civilian operations setting.

  • An additional 5 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education.

  • A Masters degree may be substituted for 3 years of experience, as long as their degree is in a related field.

  • Operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length (desired).

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.

    Travel may include austere locations with extreme climatic conditions.

    Must be able to meet CONUS Replacement Center requirements for deployment into the CENTCOM area of operations.

    Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 10% international via ground and air.
