Are you a seasoned HR pro with a passion for building strong, engaged teams? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can drive employee relations, engagement, and performance management? We’re looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to take the lead on fostering a positive employee experience while supporting key HR initiatives. In this role, you’ll oversee FMLA/disability tracking, support HR needs in the field, and guide a talented team of two of recruiters. What You’ll Do:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

  • Engagement & Retention: Develop and implement programs that enhance employee satisfaction, improve retention and promote a strong company culture.

  • Performance Management: Guide managers through performance evaluations, coaching and disciplinary actions to drive employee growth and accountability.

  • Employee Leave Tracking: Administer and track leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while supporting employees through the process.

  • Field HR Support: Spend a portion of your time in the field, engaging with teams to proactively address HR needs, build relationships and provide hands-on support.

  • Recruitment Oversight: Manage and mentor two recruiters, ensuring hiring strategies align with business needs and supporting talent acquisition efforts for stores, leadership and corporate roles.

    Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field ( or equivalent experience)

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-location or field based environment.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, leave administration, and performance management best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

  • Experience with managing and coaching a team is preferred.

  • Ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with hands-on, day-to-day responsibilities.

    Other Info:

  • Field Requirments: Approximately 15-20 % to various locations for on-site HR support

  • Office Based: Primary work location is the office/field with flexibility as needed.

  • Must have a valid drivers license.
