Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Job Description

Seeking a proficient Survey CAD Technician capable of working with Trimble/Carlson survey data collectors, reducing field notes, and preparing office surveys. The role involves performing basic mathematical and trigonometric calculations, preparing plats, drawings, as-built, tree, and topographic surveys and exhibits using AutoCAD. The candidate will perform routine analysis to ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of data. Effective communication with field crews, engineers, and project managers is essential.

Hard Skills

  • 1+ years of experience as a CAD drafter in land surveying utilizing AutoCAD

  • Experience with Trimble/Carlson Survey Data Technology

  • Ability to draw plats and experience with document planning

Soft Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly with teams

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Savannah, Georgia.

Work Environment

The candidate will report to the office Monday through Friday, working from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday. The environment is primarily office-based, however, candidates without prior field experience in surveying will spend 1-2 months in the field training. Office space and training by sr. CAD technicians will be provided.
