Robert Half Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant in Savannah, Georgia

Description We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant to join our team located in Savannah, Georgia. This role is centered on providing various accounting and taxation consulting services within a CPA Firm setting. The successful candidate will be adept at establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, as well as providing expert advice on accounting software adaptation for specific needs. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, providing them with a variety of accounting and taxation consulting services.

• Identify and solve client issues, providing robust and workable solutions.

• Advise clients on the adaptation of accounting software for their specific needs.

• Plan and prepare taxation strategies for small business entities including, corporations, partnerships, and proprietorships.

• Manage a team of accountants and tax preparers and assist with complex tax issues.

• Plan and prepare budgets for small businesses and non-profits.

• Embrace challenging assignments, quickly ascertain and analyze areas of concern and provide comprehensive, workable solutions.

• Communicate and build rapport with clients of various sizes and industries.

• Meet deadlines and be proactive with follow-up on all projects.

• Utilize accounting research tools to find solutions to specific accounting issues.

• Take ownership of work responsibilities and see tasks through to completion. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Tax Accountant or in a related role within a CPA firm

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions

• Strong understanding of accounting functions, including auditing, budget processes, and cash activity

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proven ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
