Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and professional Truck Receiving Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves using our yard management system, interacting with truck drivers, and ensuring efficient document handling. Will be managing the yard and grow into receiving supervisor

Responsibilities

• Utilize the yard management system for truck receiving tasks.

• Print out documents for truck drivers.

• Communicate effectively with truck drivers upon their arrival on site.

• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

• Work independently and stay motivated to keep busy.

Essential Skills

• Customer service experience.

• Experience with truck delivery processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.

Work Environment

This role requires working both in an office setting and in the yard, interacting with truck drivers. The shift is from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
