Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team for a USACE $30 million federal project. This role is essential to the successful completion of a large-scale HVAC project on a military base. The project is currently in the middle to closing stages and requires a strong in HVAC quality control and management. The position is open to candidates located anywhere in the country, provided they are willing to travel or relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality control aspects of the HVAC project.

• Ensure compliance with USACE or NAVFAC standards.

• Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and execution.

• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met.

• Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress and quality metrics.

Essential Skills

• 7-10+ years of Federal General Contractor PM/QCM experience.

• 3+ years of experience working on HVAC quality and controls in USACE or NAVFAC projects.

• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and managing federal contracting projects.

• Strong knowledge of USACE and NAVFAC standards and regulations.

• CQC, OSHA 30 certifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with interior construction and small ground-up projects.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Work Environment

The project will be located at a military base, requiring strict adherence to federal regulations and standards. Candidates must be open to travel and relocation as needed. The position offers a per diem for those who relocate for the project ($96/day). The work environment will involve heavy HVAC work, with a focus on quality control and project management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
