Description We are on the lookout for a Billing Clerk to join our team in the logistics industry based in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will be handling customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, your responsibilities will include monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Utilize computerized billing systems to ensure accurate invoicing

• Perform various accounting functions to support the financial operations

• Utilize QuickBooks for financial transactions and reporting

• Handle inquiries related to billing and provide accurate information to customers

• Understand and apply knowledge of intermodal logistics in day-to-day tasks

• Ensure compliance with third-party logistics requirements

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll and other financial services

• Maintain and update EHR Systems as required. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of one year experience in a similar role or in the logistics industry.

• Proficient in computerized billing systems and procedures.

• Ability to perform basic accounting functions accurately.

• Familiarity with billing processes and procedures is essential.

• Knowledge and understanding of intermodal logistics operations.

• Must have previous experience or understanding of the logistics industry.

• Experience in third party logistics is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
