We are hiring a Manufacturing Associate for our client in Sauk Rapids, MN. Pay: $19 per hour 1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (Yes, a 4-day work week!) Employment Type: Temporary, 4-6 week assignment The Manufacturing Associate will produce fabricated parts by operating metal working machines. Daily responsibilities will include: Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific requirements. Operates and tends machines such as shears, cutoff saws, brakes, punch presses, and drill presses, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions. Moves and positions materials at the work site with the help of other workers. Keep workstation and equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Ensure production goals are being met. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, written instructions, a tape measure, and processing. Knowledge of shop tools and equipment. Ability to perform simple shop math, and convert decimals to fractional equivalents. Capability of working with limited supervision and lifting 50 pounds. Excellent communication skills and willingness to partner with co-workers and other departments.
