Acara Solutions' client in Sauk, MN is seeking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Index Machine Operator to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for those who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duration: Temporary Salary: $18.50 p/hr. Available shifts: M-Th 3:00 pm - 1 am F-Sun 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Key Responsibilities: Unload, clean, and inspect parts Maintain production records Perform complex setups and operate mills, lathes, and routers to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes Identify deviations in schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications that may interrupt productivity Maintain logs and other necessary documents Determine the sequence of operations when necessary Perform first article inspections when necessary Assist others with machining problems Work independently with moderate supervision Job Requirements Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to handle fragile products and perform repetitive tasks Strong understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts Visual acuity and manual dexterity Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment Good verbal and written communication skills Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
