Assembly Technician

Pay: $20-$23/hr (dependent on experience)

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm - Monday-Friday

Location: Saugerties, NY

Job Description:

Actively hiring for entry level employees for a growing semiconductor manufacturing company. Training is available for this position.

• Applies knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process.

• Modifies various parts using tools to meet the needs of each specific build. Maintains appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production.

• Completes and submits time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information.

• Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company’s image with customers.

• Follows any safety regulations necessary and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Cleans working area prior to leaving each job. Attends and participates in departmental or company meetings.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Completes routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures.

• Works with direct supervision.

• Basic to intermediary knowledge of assembly production processes

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints

• Mechanical/inspection knowledge
