Adirondack Trust Company Senior Compliance Analyst in Saratoga Springs, New York


SUMMARY:

The Sr. Compliance Analyst will assist the Vice President, Compliance in the administration of the bank's Testing and Monitoring Program and various risk assessments. The Sr. Compliance Analyst will assist with the preparation of the Board Compliance Committee packets, drafting procedures, and reports for management, the Board, and regulators.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Job Specific

  1. Conduct various bank risk assessments such as Consumer Compliance Risk Assessment, AML/BSA/OFAC Risk Assessment in conjunction with the BSA Lead, Fair Lending Risk Assessment, Compliance Management Program Self-Assessment, CRA Self-Assessment, etc. by working with various business line owners to obtain necessary input and information necessary to identify consumer compliance risk
  2. Execute the Monitoring and Testing Program, make recommendations to the CCO for annual modifications to the Program based on the annual risk assessments noted above
  3. Coordinate with Commercial Lending, to identify reportable loans to be added to the HMDA LAR
  4. In conjunction with the CRA Officer, plan, organize and report the bank's compliance activities related to the Community Reinvestment Act.
  5. Back up the other Compliance Analysts regarding AML/BSA/OFAC and other department tasks, as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A 4-year degree preferred with a concentration in business, finance, legal, or criminal justice; or a 2-year degree with 2-3 years' experience in banking, legal or financial related field. Proficient knowledge of BSA and consumer compliance requirements. Familiarity with bank systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.: None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel.

Communicate Orally.

Normal daily physical activities to include walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Must be able to read reports and use computer.

Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoors, environmentally controlled.
