Main Objective:Performs production assembly work of electro-mechanical systems of moderate to high complexity with close attention to detail following manufacturing assembly procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Manufacture electro-mechanical system to specified work orders using part drawings, assembly prints, bill of materials, and work instructions.•Perform tasks such as but not limited to installing circuit boards, power supplies, face plates, product labels, cables and wire harness.•Requires use of mechanical assembly hand tools i.e. power tools, wrenches, drivers as well as electrical assembly hand tools i.e. crimpers, cutters, soldering tools and heat guns•Perform and document work completed via a product traveler. Insures correct specifications and functional criteria are per the manufacturing instructions and good documentation practice has been accomplished prior to completion of work.•Trouble shoot electro-mechanical systems and identify required repairs.•Assist in development of methods and procedures to improve manufacturing processes•Perform time studies for operations as required •Work with direction from the production supervisor and follow written and verbal instructions.Additional Skills:•Ability to read system schematics, wiring diagrams and plumbing diagrams•Light machining (lathes, milling machines, drill press)•Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)Requirements:•High school degree (minimum), Technical Certification or other post high school training (2 Year Duration) preferred.•Minimum 2 years experience•Good communication skills to convey information to associates and supervisor•Ability to lift 50 lbs and work standing as needed
