Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Lens Technician to join their team in Sarasota, FL. As a Lens Focus Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, 20/20 vision, experience working in the eye wear/ contact lense industry is a plus.

Job Title: Contact Lens Technician

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay Range: Based on experience What's the Job?

• Reads and comprehends instructions and follows established procedures

• Collects all material and equipment needed to begin the process

• Selects components according to specifications and required schedule

• Aligns material and puts together parts to build more complex units

• Tasks include staging of molds, demolding of the molds for production, support for position

• Checks output to ensure highest quality

• Maintains equipment in good condition

• Keeps records of production quantities and time – records all information on tracking sheets and in database

• Reports on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts

• Other duties as required
