Summary:

Core Technicians stretches, sands, cuts and measures honeycomb core material to technical measurements and work order specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide their internal customers with correct products and services, on-time.
• Create, communicate, and accomplish daily department schedules.
• Keep WOs and associated documentation with each part throughout the manufacturing process and providing documentation to their internal customer.
• Retain part traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
• Performs core processing operations per HWI 40801-6 and all other pertinent HCOA Operation Procedures or Work Instructions.
• Sanding, measuring and cutting metal to work order specifications.
• Utilizing machinery to stretch honeycomb core material to work order specification.
• Ensure work areas are clean and free from Foreign Object Debris
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, comprehend and adhere to technical data.
• Experience in working with metal (sanding, measuring and cutting metal)
• Microsoft Office Suite and data entry into ERP systems.
• Security Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US. If required possess the ability to pass the Defense National Agency Check IAW DoDD 5200.2

4.Physical Demands / ADA Compliance

The employee may be required to stand for a full shift while wearing PPE. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Correctable vision to 20/20 with full depth perception. Ability to pass DOT Drug Testing requirements (49 CFR Part 40). Regularly required to push, pull, bend and apply pressure using hand tools and operate machinery.

$20.00 an hour to start.

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime required. Monday through Friday. Onsite only.

Background and Drug test required.
