Amazon Advertising's Brand Innovation Lab is looking for a talented, passionate, and customer-obsessed Brand Designer who demonstrates a strong understanding of design systems and how to apply strategic design thinking across multiple marketing channels including digital platforms, social, print, and out of home channels. They are a design thinker, motivated to develop the best solution for every challenge, regardless of scope or budget, and readily dive deep to understand the objectives of their business partners. They have experience working on brand/identity systems and seasonal campaigns, and are seasoned at preparing and professionally presenting their work to a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate highly values collaboration and is able to synthesize clear design solutions with a distinct bias for action while factoring in the implications of a global brand.

Key job responsibilities

From inception through launch, you will be responsible for creating first-class custom experiences both on and offline within the team dedicated to Entertainment, Toys, and Telco advertisers. Our team is focused on helping the clients promote their brands in new ways on Amazon through creative and innovative solutions. Basic qualifications

-Bachelor's degree

-Knowledge of typography, design principles, trends and best practices across digital and print

-Strong grasp of the creative process; from ideation through implementation

-Familiarity with brand strategy and working from briefs

-5+ years of driving compelling execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience leadership, internal teams, and clients

-Attention to detail

-Ability to share ideas and receive feedback from business partners and stakeholders through presentations and writing

-Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, Power Point, and Figma

-Portfolio demonstrating understanding and development of brand guidelines

-Portfolio demonstrating seasonal and/or brand campaigns that scale across multiple touch points

Preferred qualifications

-Understanding of production best practices for print and digital mediums

-Understanding of IXD

-Agency experience

A day in the life

As part of this team, you will work under the guidance of a Creative Director and collaborate closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Design Technologists, Solutions Managers, and producers. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating with both internal partners, including design and engineering teams, and external stakeholders to deliver innovative results and elevate the visual through all stages from concept development to final execution.

About the team

The Brand Innovation Lab team is the internal team within Amazon Ads that creates one-of-a-kind campaigns and activations for global advertisers, like Universal Pictures, Disney, Warner Bros., Starz, Discovery, Lego, Mattel, Verizon and AT&T. Using different products and services within the Amazon canvas (Custom landing pages on Amazon.com, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, TNF, etc.), we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across our digital channels and out in the real-world.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
