Responsibilities

In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center healthcare philosophy the Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to patients in their place of residence under physician's orders: to evaluate the home for safety, to assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients, develop treatment goals, plan and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing a variety of occupational therapy treatment procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience as an occupational therapist required.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy required.

  • Occupational Therapy OT License

  • CPR - BLS.

  • CA Drivers License.

  • Auto Insurance.

  • Ability to function independently and autonomously, ability to operate and demonstrate the use of equipment for occupational therapy care andability to teach and instruct patients, caregivers and staff required.

  • Knowledge and ability to perform an Occupational Therapy assessment and knowledge of principles, concepts, modalities and methodologyrequired of an Occupational Therapist required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years previous experience as an occupational therapist preferred but not required

  • Previous hand therapy experience preferred but not required.

  • Previous home care experience.

  • Second language skills in Spanish.

Pay Range

$42.69 - $61.91 /hour
