Dignity Health Teleradiology Physician (Nights) in Santa Cruz, California

Overview

Foundation Physicians Medical Group (FPMG), a multi-specialty medical group aligned with Dignity Health, is seeking to add Teleradiologists for night coverage from 10pm - 8am PST.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • ED and inpatient scans

  • Must be comfortable reading Head CT

  • Hours covered: 10pm - 8am PST

  • 156 shifts per year

  • No mammo

  • Merge PACS and PS 360

  • Expanding radiology service

Package Includes:

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

  • Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.

  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.

  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range

$240.38 - $288.46 /hour
