Nvidia Materials Program Manager in Santa Clara, California

NVIDIA has an exciting opportunity for a Materials Program Manager in our Global Supply Chain Procurement Organization. The position requires application of sophisticated supply chain techniques to implement materials strategies which ensure supply readiness achieves production requirements with flexibility and agility to support demand volatility. You will partner with cross functional organizations to understand production build plan and supply requirements, assess Bill of Materials and schedule risks related to supply readiness. Through data analytics, drive solutions to increase flexibility and agility. Drive initiatives and process improvements to improve scalability.

This challenging position requires strong data analytical skills and extensive experience in supply chain management within the semiconductor industry. An individual contributor who is a strategic and analytical problem solver. Someone who can work with cross-functional teams to a common goal and have the willingness to adapt and excel in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with BU, Engineering and Ops Supply Chain teams to understand product build plans and materials requirements for production within North America region.

  • Identify components source-ability and availability risks to develop and implement materials planning strategies to meet production requirements.

  • Apply data analytics to develop and deploy inventory management algorithms to increase flexibilities while reducing inventory risk.

  • Drive the initiative for process improvements to drive scalability, alignment and efficiency within the team and contract manufacturing partners

  • Review market intelligence data and model strategies for advance procurement of materials to mitigate risks in a constrained supply chain

  • Review the CTB ("clear to build") process with CMs, ensuring process efficiency and highlighting materials coverage risks and enable solutions on constraints.

  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Implement inventory control procedures to prevent shortages and overstock situations and conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Identify E&O, PPV and other material risks and liabilities, recommend critical course of action to leadership, and lead the efforts to mitigate liability to the business units.

  • Drive process alignments with suppliers, develop and measure key performance indicators to ensure expectation and target goals are met.

  • Review and ensure the robust CM material management system and processes are in place and adhered to. Drive corrective actions for non-compliances.

What we need to see:

  • MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years related experience in Supply Chain Planning/Procurement in the Semiconductor industry as well as experience working with Contract Manufacturing partners.

  • Strong communication and experience working with Contract Manufacturers in North America and Asia regions. Fluency in Spanish and Mandarin speaking a plus.

  • Strong data analytics and modeling skills; ability to present visual data through charts/metrics/presentation slides.

  • Advanced User of MS Excel with deep understanding of Excel techniques; VBA, SQL, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools experience a plus.

  • Highly experiences in SAP or other similar ERP systems as well as PDP, Agile or similar PDM systems with deep knowledge of Bill Of Materials (BOM) structures

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data

  • Flexible, agile, and possess the ability to excel in a very fast paced environment; perceive challenges through a positive outlook and drive solutions to ensure success

The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
