Applied Materials Hardware (HW) Qualification and Development Support Team (DST) Engineer IV (E4) in Santa Clara, California

Key Responsibilities

Technical expert in at least 2 R&D discipline (Optic, Electronic, Motion, SEM).

  1. Support R&D module owner in “Off & On Tool” Module Integration, Calibration and Qualification;

  2. Qualify Module performance to spec (on & off tool);

  3. Support R&D development (C&F) activities.

Lead Qualifications:

  1. Lead Qualification of complex, non-system components (isolated from application);

  2. Provide risk assessment.

  3. Define & execute Qualification plans; Define, execute and qualify calibration procedures (off and on tool).

Tool owner - Expert in tool Build and complex Integration.

Production documentation: define and qualify full build book and full sub system ATP tests.

High debug ability and 3rd level of escalation to modules that are within area of expertise

U.S. Salary Range:

$160,000.00 - $220,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
