Job Description
Lead a world-class team of marketing professionals and develop strategies for our microarray products and services. Define market segments, analyze competitive environments, and implement ambitious marketing strategies. Drive activities related to conceptualizing and achieving marketing targets, launching new products, and positioning existing products. Collaborate with regional marketing and commercial teams to ensure flawless execution of marketing deliverables. Manage hiring, talent development, and day-to-day activities of the global market development team. Be a leader with a point of view in life sciences and digital marketing with a proven ability to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead marketing strategy and day-to-day prioritization for the microarray business.
Complete product launches by collaborating with product management and commercial teams.
Support cross division and group partnerships for the business unit
Develop and coordinate digital marketing strategies for on-market products.
Identify and complete demand generation activities, set and monitor targets.
Develop opportunities for new products and solution workflows.
Incorporate the Voice of Customer into actionable inputs for roadmaps and marketing.
Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and influence policies governing genotyping projects.
Collaborate on division-wide marketing programs to drive awareness and demand.
Improve ROI on marketing initiatives by implementing standard methodologies and optimizing processes.
Establish and lead a marketing team capable of driving essential strategies and tactics.
Participate in professional societies and activities related to life sciences and marketing.
Provide matrix leadership and coordination for regional market development teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
12+ years in life sciences marketing with a track record of launching new products.
Proven leadership of high-performing teams with business results.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Global marketing experience with proven success in collaboration across regional teams.
Experience in strategic business planning, market research, and promotions.

Prior exposure to microarray analysis and other genetic technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $174,600.00–$261,900.00.
