Intel Cloud Software Engineering Manager in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

Join Intel’s TSP group as a Cloud Software Engineering Manager! The Cloud Software Engineering Manager manages a team of cloud software professionals who are responsible for delivering results across a broad range of cloud software, including software development, design, debug, validation, and optimization, cloud orchestration, and/or cloud customer enablement. May also provide architectural and technical guidance to ensure sound engineering practices are followed.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related field and 9+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related field and 4+ years of experience in:

  • Cloud software development principles and technologies - code and architecture level familiarity.

  • Experience managing software engineering teams for Cloud based SaaS products.

  • Modern, agile software engineering practices and principles.

This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Distributed ledger technology.

  • Federated Learning and AI technologies.

  • Startup experience, including experience scaling teams and products.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $203,833.00-$325,999.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
