Description

We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join a team in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be responsible for providing basic customer service, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role offers a contract employment opportunity in the education industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and provide basic customer service via phone and email.

• Accurately process and maintain customer records within our systems.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Google Apps to manage and organize data.

• Assist in managing daily cash deposits and cash balances.

• Participate in the opening and closing procedures of the office.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of the office.

• Respond promptly to inquiries from students and parents.

• Utilize a phone app, such as Google Voice, for customer service tasks.

• Provide support in handling cash when the cashiers open.

• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role such as Data Entry Clerk or related position

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with Google Apps is necessary

• Knowledge of handling Cash Balance, Cash Deposits, and Cash Drawers

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent typing skills with a high word per minute count

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

• Must possess strong organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
