Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Spanish speaking Receptionist in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with exceptional service while handling a variety of administrative tasks. You will be part of an insurance industry team, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your multitasking skills and grow your career.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, providing an excellent first impression of our company

• Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual

• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and supervisors

• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every task is completed in a timely manner

• Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly

• Handle incoming mail, sorting and distributing it according to established procedures

• Keep office files organized and up-to-date, providing general office filing support as needed

• Manage office and kitchen supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary

• Assist other administrative staff with overflow work, including but not limited to word processing, data entry, and internet research tasks

• Leverage your bilingual skills by providing Spanish translation services when necessary.

Requirements • Prior experience of at least one year in a Receptionist role or similar is necessary.

• Proficiency in performing Receptionist Duties such as handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.

• Fluency in Spanish language, both written and spoken, is required.

• Experience in Spanish translation is essential for this role.

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
